CAFÈ FEUERBACH
The Solitude
Autor: Fidan Akhundova
Translation from Russian: Leyli Salayeva
Scares me, awaits me, quietly
Only then, but before
I finish my beer and watch furtively
I chase away
What scares me, awaits me patiently
That sneaks into my house.
I will order another beer
To find inebriety
I'll draw a portrait in my pad
To hide anxiety
I will pretend to be no one
Hide personality
All but to hawl stealthily
All but to drift into
What scares me, awaits me quietly
That beats in unison silently
In my house.

This Portrait was made as a memory of the Feuerbach Café. I wrote a script based on this portrait and naw working on the animation Projekt.
Synopsis:
A young woman visits the Feurbach Café every evening, observes the visitors, draws in the album. A slow heartbeat and a monologue poem can be heard in the background. From the poem, the viewer discovers what the girl is thinking about, which is overwhelmed by a state of rebellion, nostalgia and a feeling of deep loneliness.
After drinking wine, she leaves the bar and walks alone in the city at night. Looking out of the windows, she reflects on her fate, the desire to find shelter, comfort and the fear of loneliness. The girl imagines family life, reconciles herself with the role of happy motherhood, however, after trying out this role, she is seized with a sense of longing. Mental disorders and the search for peace of mind are central to the plot.
